What started as a VIDA Session several years prior, is today an award-winning beachfront hotel in the heart of one of Costa Rica’s most popular beach towns. Working with the client and Garnier Arquitectos, VIDA established a masterplan that balanced the economic objectives, preservation of existing mature trees, managed stormwater and ultimately shaped the experience of all the external areas: from the guest arrival and parking, the main pool area at the centre of the property, beachfront restaurant, meandering guest circulation and privacy using native and adapted plant species to create an oasis along one of Costa Rica’s finest beaches.
