VIDA has worked with the Harmony Hotel owners and team over many years to transform this well-positioned property into a yoga and surf lover’s dream destination. The hotel prides itself on a guest experience centred around its wellness centre, yoga classes and surf; a vision that has been at the forefront of the various improvements and expansion of the popular hotel. Starting with a 5-day VIDA Session in 2013, followed by many subsequent working sessions, drawings and built work, including a completely transformed arrival experience, stormwater management to deal with flooding, planting improvements with plant expert Karen Arras, circulation and back-of-house improvements. VIDA also continues to be involved with various project visioning, masterplanning and design of many of the owners’ other local pursuits, including the Sunset Shack: a younger-focussed property just across the road.
