Hotel Fermata is a beachfront, surf-forward retreat by the team behind Sendero and Outpost. Grounded in a spirit of barefoot luxury, VIDA was engaged to develop a masterplan that balances hospitality with the raw energy of the coast. Located directly in front of the iconic La Lora surf break, the design works in harmony with the site’s existing conditions, preserving mature trees and weaving the architecture through a lush, immersive landscape. Circulation is defined by a network of stone pathways that guide movement organically across the property, echoing the language of Sendero’s trails while creating moments of discovery and connection.
