Associates will be able to work on projects from concept to completion, assisting to move design ideas forward with drawing sets and presentation documents. The qualities we seek are similar to those we look for in senior roles, offering the possibility to grow into leadership positions while learning through hands-on experience and process.

Qualifications 
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college. Architectural degrees will be considered
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture or Planning, Urban Design, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and coordinating document sets, technical detailing, permitting coordination and project installation
  • Project coordination experience
  • Hand drawing Skills
  • Proficiency with ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and ProCreate
  • Understanding of plant material and planting design concepts
  • Good communication, time management and collaboration skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills
  • Must be active, agile, and comfortable with physical activity and the outdoors
The Role

The ideal candidates should be logical design thinkers and be highly skilled at drawing to iterate and solve problems effectively. They will be a passionate individual who thrives in natural environments, embraces exploration, and exemplifies a strong work ethic. 

  • Assist in Design Development: Collaborate with senior landscape architects to create innovative designs, including conceptual sketches, plans, and renderings
  • Site Analysis: Conduct research and site analysis

  • Drafting and Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, models, and construction documentation using ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, LandFX and Adobe Suite. We are looking for people who can innovate and contribute to the construction detailing and implementation of projects. 

  • Sustainable + Natural System Solutions: Contribute to designs that incorporate sustainable practices, considering environmental impact, local ecosystems, and long-term maintenance

  • Planting Design Concepts and planting knowledge

  • Client Presentations: Assist in preparing design presentations for clients, stakeholders, and public consultations, including mood boards, 3D renderings, and models.
